After the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) formally promised teachers that the 2024 July phase 2 salary increment will be included in the final 2024/2025 CBA agreement, teachers are eagerly anticipating it.
July 2024 Pay rise follows a much-anticipated promise that will see thousands of teachers benefit from packages and this is expected to relieve them during this economic time.
Teachers salary increment is part of the government’s commitment towards ensuring that well being of educators and acknowledging their essential contributions to society .

The initial salary adjustment, initiated on July 1, 2023, reached its culmination on June 30, 2024. The second and final phase, slated to begin on July 1, 2024, will extend its benefits until June 30, 2025.
Recognizing the dedication of existing educators, those employed as of July 1, 2023, will enjoy preferential treatment during the rollout of the second phase, set to take effect on July 1, 2024.
